Danielle is running for School Trustee
My name is Danielle, and I am proud to have been a lifelong resident of what is commonly known as Burnaby. I am deeply grateful to live, work, and learn on the unceded, ancestral territories and waterways of the First Peoples, Metis, and Inuit.
My Burnaby Roots
This city has shaped my life and my career:
• Community Connection: I have built lifelong ties exploring our green spaces, streets, and local businesses.
• Parent & Educator: I raised my children on Burnaby Mountain, where they attended local classrooms, and I operated a thriving home daycare for many years.
• Advocacy & Education: Having attended Burnaby schools myself, I am deeply invested in the success of our students and the support of our educators.My Vision for Education
I am running for the Board of Trustees because I am passionate about the well-being of our communities, starting with our youngest learners. I want to help create safe, readily inclusive spaces where educators are empowered to welcome all learners. My goal is to help children feel safe, inspire them to co-create with peers, and foster a thriving community of innovative thinkers with strong hearts and open minds.
