Jennifer Jang is running for School Trustee
Jennifer Jang is a longtime Burnaby resident, community advocate, and parent running for Burnaby School Board Trustee. A third-generation Vancouverite, she has lived in the Burnaby Heights and Brentwood area for more than 20 years.
Through her family’s experience in the Burnaby school system, Jennifer has seen firsthand the challenges facing local schools due to rapid growth, overcrowding, and increasing pressure on programs and infrastructure. She also understands the challenges many families face in accessing childcare and before-and after-school care.
Jennifer brings leadership experience through her role as President and Treasurer of one of Burnaby’s larger multi-building strata communities, PAC involvement and community volunteer work. Her professional background in film production, marketing, logistics, and community engagement has shaped her collaborative and practical approach to problem-solving.
She is running because she believes students deserve principled leadership, responsible planning, and trustees who listen carefully and keep students at the center of every decision.
